The Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting the Head of Marketing and the Marketing team in terms of being responsible for critical back office administration including monitoring the marketing spend and the budget for the department as well ensuring that invoices are checked and processed within an agreed SOP, liaising with stakeholders across the business to ensure the successful implementation and roll out of marketing initiatives. They will also be expected to carry out research where necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Good project management skills.
Sound knowledge of marketing principles.
Up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and ability of applying it to marketing principles.
Ability to work individually and ability to handle self-driven projects efficiently.
Conversant with report writing, business procedures and correspondence.
First-class copyright skills and ability to use various technical aspects of the marketing theory for a wide range of customers.
Strong knowledge of products in the market and knowledge of Marks and Spencer consumers.
Time management, fixing priorities, organizing skills, attentiveness, accuracy in performance.
Statistical knowledge for analyzing systems and data
Effective presentation of information and strong spoken language skills for responding to questions from managers, clients and the general public.
Education / Experience / Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing.
Working experience in Retail Marketing or Fashion
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
